Before the February trade deadline, the Cleveland Cavaliers traded for Rodney Hood with the hope that he could strengthen their chance of reclaiming the National Basketball Association championship title this season.
According to Jason Lloyd of The Athletic, Rodney Hood refused to enter the fourth quarter of the Cavs' Game 4 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Monday night and could ultimately be suspended for his actions.
"This is not him as a person at all, he's a team player and wants what's best for the team", one source familiar with the discussion told Vardon.
Hood has been struggling as of late and recently lost his starting spot in the lineup. It was the only blemish on an otherwise impressive series sweep for the Cavs.

Unexpectedly, the iPhone 7 was in the fourth spot followed by Xiaomi Redmi 5A and the recently launched Galaxy S9. There is no word if Apple would charge the users to resolve the issue if a unit is out of the warranty period.
Earlier in the game, rookie Cedi Osman came in with the second unit and played the minutes that had been going to Hood in Lue's rotation. However, Hood refused to enter the game which reportedly angered some of his teammates.
UPDATE: Hood has apologized to Altman for the Game 4 incident, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
The Cavs will return to the court soon to face either the Sixers or, most likely, the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. The 25-year-old has seen his minutes dwindle throughout the Cavs' playoff run, with Monday' night's DNP representing a new low.
Hood scored just two points in the first three games of this series and is averaging 4.6 points for the playoffs on.133 shooting from 3-point range. But with an attitude unbecoming of a player that's part of a championship contender aside from his poor play, Hood's chances of a lucrative deal may have vanished into thin air.
