Thomas Bjorn has selected Ian Poulter, Henrik Stenson, Sergio Garcia and Paul Casey as wild cards for his European Ryder Cup team, it was announced Wednesday. Furyk makes his fourth selection after the BMW Championship.
The Spaniard has missed just one Ryder Cup since his debut appearance in 1999. It will be his first Ryder Cup since 2012.
He has not played, however, on a winning team in Europe, where the US has not triumphed since 1993. He has a 13-17-3 record.

No matter what DeChambeau does next week at the BMW Championship, he'll remain atop the playoff standings entering the Tour Championship.

There was little drama to Tuesday's announcement after DeChambeau won his second consecutive playoff event on Monday. He is up to four career PGA Tour victories.
