Honestly, the whole thing looks visually stunning, already.

Walt Disney Pictures has released the first trailer for its live-action Aladdin adaptation.

The star on Wednesday revealed the live-action musical's first poster. The 1992 hit could be credited, at least in part, with the kick-off a new brand of Disney animated film: one armed with celebrity voice actors, snappier songs, and a sharp and savvy-albeit anachronistic-sense of humor.

"Aladdin" is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. With nothing else to go on, I'm not sure if I'm excited for not, but I would like to see Will Smith acting all insane as the Genie.

He said that dialogue would develop favourably "based on the deep confidence between the two leaders of the two countries". Moon also said there was a possibility of Kim holding a summit with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The titular character will be played by Mena Massoud, the genie by Will Smith, Princess Jasmine by Naomi Scott of Power Rangers fame and Jafar by Marwan Kenzari.

Opening May 24th 2019, Aladdin will be followed by another live-action Disney remake in July the same year as Jon Favreau is set to unleash Lion King. The poster featured the Genie's iconic lamp. As Aladdin and Jasmine fall in love, they must also face the evil Jafar, who plans to become Sultan by marrying Jasmine.

The short clip doesn't show much, but we do get our very first look at Guy Ritchie's Aladdin remake.
