Fultz was the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. It was reported last week Fultz would "prefer a fresh start with a new team" after a poor start to the season that has now been compounded with a wrist injury on top of a lingering right shoulder injury. Not to mention, before Fultz even ruled himself out from the team, he was losing his minutes to point guard, T.J. McConnell.
Philadelphia has "stopped listening" to offers for the 26-year-old guard, according to a report from ESPN, which cites unidentified league sources.
76ers guard Markelle Fultz is the subject of trade talks between Philadelphia and the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to reports. "For now, however, Fultz is still around the team as if nothing has changed except his playing time". Fultz's agent and attorney, Raymond Brothers, told the Sixers that Fultz would seek further opinions on his shoulder before returning to the court.
Met Éireann issues orange alerts ahead of Storm Diana
Storm Diana is expected to move away during Wednesday evening, although showers are likely to persist into Thursday, November 29. By tonight, the next band of rain appears in the southwest and this is linked to Storm Diana.
Regardless of what they are asking for in exchange for Fultz, the Sixers have no choice but to make a move sooner than later.
However, Chris Sheridan of Get More Sports reported on Sunday that there is no interest in Fultz.
McConnell is 6-foot-2 and is averaging 3.9 points and 2.4 assists in 16 appearances this season.
Fultz began the 2018/19 season as a starter but saw his place taken by J.J. Reddick following the arrival of Jimmy Butler. McConnell can be a free agent this summer.
