Jayme Closs was located by police in the northwestern county of Douglas, Wisconsin, on Thursday evening, police officials said in a statement released on Facebook.

The Barron County Sheriff's Department posted on its Facebook page Thursday evening that Jayme had been found alive in Douglas County, Wisconsin, which borders Lake Superior.

It is not immediately clear where or how Jayme was found. Barron County Sheriff's Office plans on holding a press briefing Friday morning.

The girl disappeared on October 15 from her rural home about two miles outside of Barron, where her parents, James and Denise, were found shot to death.

"This is Jayme Closs!" We also want to thank all the Law Enforcement agencies across the state and country that have assisted us in this case.

Fitzgerald said in November that he kept similar cases in the back of his mind as he worked to find Closs, including the abduction of Elizabeth Smart, who was taken from her Salt Lake City home in 2002 when she was 14 years old.

Marina Granovskaia , general director at the London club, also wants to find a way to move the forward on. Given Chelsea's policy for above 30-year-old players, it's unusual that they want to sign Higuain .

In December, Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald shared troubling details about the crime scene with DailyMail.com.

"I can not wait to see her".

The caller didn't communicate with police, but noises heard in the background suggested a disturbance or struggle of some kind. "From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!"

This is a developing story, authorities are asking the public to respect the privacy of the family. "And I just shut myself totally down". He described the area as a small-town development with single-family, cabin-like homes.

Jayme's name was added to the top of the FBI's Missing Persons list and has been on digital billboards across the nation since she vanished four months ago. And as the mystery of her disappearance stretched past the fall and into the Christmas holiday, Jayme Closs's neighbors, classmates and family in Barron held vigil, wrapping a community tree in green and blue lights: green for hope, blue for grief. Investigators said later they believed Jayme was at home at the time of the shooting. She asked people to continue to pray for "Jayme's well-being and our families healing".
