Past year we included LG's rollable TV concept in our most mind-blowing gadgets from CES 2018, and now the television of the future is back at the popular tech expo in Las Vegas, and is ready to be the companies flagship 4K OLED TV for 2019.
The 65-inch OLED screen of the newly unveiled LG TV can roll into and unroll from a base stand which functions as a sound bar.
This is the LG Signature OLED TV R.
During its CES 2019 press conference, LG announced an OLED TV that rolls up and hides inside a cabinet until it is needed. The new TV is equipped with LG's second generation of Alpha 9 intelligent processor and deep learning algorithm for a stunning AI picture and sound quality. In the Line View, users can choose from features such as Clock, Frame, Mood, Music and Home Dashboard.
When in Zero View, all 65 inches of the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R is hidden from view, tucked away in the base.
Not concerned about Apple’s stock price slump: Donald Trump
All three of those events addressed issues that investors have been particularly concerned about over the past several months. As of 15:30 GMT, Netflix had gained 5.9 percent in value while Intel was not far behind in gains after rising 4.8 percent.
Perhaps the bigger news is its 2019 LG TVs' built-in support for AirPlay 2.
At the same time, LG also launched its first 88-inch 8K Oled TV.
iPhone or iPad users can now easily play videos from iTunes or other video apps to the LG TVs without the need for Apple TV streaming console.
And a new USB-C portable monitor, together with a bunch of LCD panels, round out LG Display's CES 2019 offerings.
Additionally, the Signature's "Zero View" configuration retracts the entire television's display, transforming the Signature OLED TV R into what amounts to a fairly powerful speaker system thanks to a 4.2-channel, 100W, front-firing, Dolby Atmos soundbar built into the device's aluminum and wood body.
