It seems like Samsung is all ready to launch its high-end flagship device, Galaxy A50.

We posted earlier today that the race for multi-camera set-up on smartphones now stood at 5 rear-facing cameras, with the lead being contested by Nokia and Huawei.

With all these new features, Samsung probabably wanted to make sure they got eveyrhting right before they start annoucing and releasing it so that we do not see another Nore 7 disaster. However, it has also been reported that the fingerprint sensor the company will use would be optical in nature and not ultrasonic. Earlier reports revealed that the phone will come with 5,000 mAh battery. The Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus will both feature a display like this, while the Galaxy S10 Lite will be a different monster entirely. Currently, Samsung is working to launch its flagships of the year - Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ - in or around Mobile World Congress 2019 which is scheduled for Feb 25. While the image doesn't come from Samsung, it still gives us an idea of what we should expect from the phone's design.

Samsung's Galaxy A50 smartphone is also expected to come with wireless charging as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner, as the company has said that it plans to bring the two technologies to its mid-tier devices. On the camera front, the Galaxy A50 is said to include a 24MP primary sensor on the back and there will be a single camera setup on the front. More surprisingly, the phone will run Android 9 Pie out of the box. With a launch expected around MWC we expect to see a lot more of this upcoming phone leaked in the coming weeks.
