President Donald Trump didn't have to change the menu Monday for his second hosting of college athletes at the White House this year: it was time to pile the table with fast food again. The press criticized Trump's choice of food, which he personally paid for, but the many players defended their trip to the White House.
When explaining why he didn't go with a chef-prepared meal this time, Trump said, "I know you people".
"We like American companies, OK?"
Now, there are still likely nutrition staff members cringing somewhere in the corner, as fast food is akin to putting regular ol' gas in a sports auto, but a burger or two (or three? or more?) once probably won't hurt.
